I wanted to knit something with color but I was (and still am) hesitant to try Fair Isle knitting. So I decided to knit with stripes. Stripes are the easiest way to add color to knitting. By knitting the sweater in four pieces which are sewn together, the simple horizontal stripes combine to form a chevron pattern. The wide V-neck and batwing sleeves contribute to the loose, comfortable fit of the sweater, which can be worn off the shoulder for a fun, flirty look.
