The Fiber Republic（ファイバー・リパブリック）は必要性に迫られ設立されました。ファウンダーは、スピナーでニッター、かつ美と機能性を兼ね備えたものをこよなく愛し探し続ける Cassandra H. です。The Fiber Republic は Cassandra のそういった思いのもと設立され、それを解決するソリューション、Fiber Art（ファイバー・アート）を目指しています。編み物、織り物、クローシェ編みされたもの、フェルト編みされたものはどれもこの上なく美しい！そしてこの世に存在感をもたらします。これからは、愛するファイバー（羊毛）をこっそりクローゼットに隠し込み、その魅力を共有しないといった罪悪感にさいなまれることなく、愛するファイバーにこれまで以上に囲まれ、糸紡ぎし、編み物をし、これからもファイバーの美と機能性を追求し続けたい！そんな思いからこのショップをスタートしました。

Cassandra H. は夫と1歳６ヶ月の娘と一緒に暮らす東京在住のファイバー・アーティストです。スピニングとニッティング（編み物）のほかに、サックスを演奏したり、語学、ダンス、写真、ベーキングを嗜んでいます。このウェブサイトがレファレンス・ポイントとして多くの人が集まり、編み物を愛するみなさんの treasure chest（たまてばこ）のような存在になることを望んでいます。

The Fiber Republic was born out of necessity.  It's founder, Cassandra H., is a spinning addict, a knitting junkie and a sucker for anything that has both form and function.  The solution to this problem...fiber art!  Knitted, woven, crocheted and felted items are both beautiful, and serve a purpose in this world, which is why Cassandra gave in to her weaknesses and started this shop, so she can roll about in luxurious fibers all day long and not feel one ounce of guilt about stashing them away in the closet and not sharing them with others!

Indeutsch International, which began its operations in 2005, has in a short span of time made its mark within the knitting community with its range of thoughtfully designed products. The company presently works from a production facility of over 2000 sq. mtrs. and employs close to one hundred workers. It provides a very safe and healthy workplace and has introduced proper management and business practices. The company is very conscious of its responsibility not only to its employee but also to the community and is actively involved in local social welfare programs including running a school for poor children.
